I have been considering a new podcast ever since Mike Quarles and I worked on the FreedomFocus podcast many years ago. This particular podcast is personal…it’s my opinion…it is an ever growing journey of grace. If you do not know me, my name is Vernon Terrell. I am the dad of three teenagers and a recent widower (my wife passed away November 5, 2015). I’ve been ministering in some way, shape or form for almost 35 years BUT not in a traditional full time ministry. Yes I was a youth pastor for a number of years, a lay counselor, sunday school teacher, speaker, web minister, and more; I have led mission trips, men’s groups, couple’s groups and all that stuff BUT I work for a living in the corporate environment. I retired after 27 years at Alcatel-Lucent (formerly AT&T and Lucent Technologies) and now work at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (the Enterprise division was sold and now stands alone as a separate, mid-sized company). I guess I get the best of both worlds! My prayer is that this podcast / blog as well as my other endeavors will move you one step closer in your relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
